Mission
OUR DECLARATION
First let me start off by thanking all of you who have chosen to visit our web site and support this great cause! Without all of you none of this would be possible! Your courage to stand up and support your rights and to exercise your freedom of speech and expression is commended. I admire, respect and find strength in all of you! This is truly "for the people,by the people"!
What we are about is simple, we, as American citizens, should not have to take the backseat and have our way of life impacted on a daily basis by all of those who choose to enter this country illegally! All that we ask for is simple, if you choose to move to this country to better your way of life we truly commend and welcome you with open arms! As long as you follow the proper legal channels to become American citizens!
Unfortunately that has not been the case for many years! Millions have migrated to America by defrauding our legal system and degrading the very fiber of what our great nation was founded upon! People from all countries throughout the world have flooded our borders and our shores and go about living in this country in a truly demeaning fashion!
How are you bettering yourselves if you choose to enter this country under false pretenses! Instead of going through the proper procedure's to become citizens I assume it's easier to purchase your identity through some glorified drug dealer on the streets! This dealer is unique, choosing not to deal with narcotic's rather social security cards and driver license's! What a disgrace, what a sin!
To every person that chooses to come to this country illegally understand one very important thing, YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO EVERY LEGAL IMMIGRANT THAT HAILS FROM YOUR VERY COUNTRY! Everyday these people help to dishonor and embarrass all of those who did come to America to better their lives for themselves and their families. It is my belief that illegal immigrant is a strong saying but I choose to label all of those who entered this country illegally for exactly what they truly are, ILLEGAL TRESPASSER'S!
When exactly did it become a legal matter to have street signs in our language? When did it become a decision of the courts to dictate to us whether or not we can condone English as our one and only language in the united states of America? I'm sorry but isn't that supposed to be a given? Why should we have to learn another language in order to better ourselves in our career's or to even read a basic street sign, or better yet a menu at a restaurant!?! On the other hand it's okay if an illegal trespasser is taking English as a second language! I assume that's enough for them to be granted amnesty!
What a remarkable way to handle our soaring illegal immigration problem throughout this great nation! Enter our country illegally take our jobs take our social security our welfare system etc! Just continue to diminish everything this great nation is all about! I can go on and on but let me refrain.
I don't know about all of you but I refuse to accept English as a second language! Not now, not ever! It is just that simple everybody! What we are about is taking a stand for our constitutional rights and our civil liberties. It's about letting your voice be heard rather than to continue to have our voices overshadowed by individuals who aren't even entitled to our freedom of speech. For all of those who enter this country illegally know one thing, you have no rights and most importantly you have no voice!
The time has come for us as proud American citizens to unite and claim what is rightfully ours! This organization has no political ties whatsoever, we are nothing more than citizens who refuse to live our lives in fear and truly believe that if we all come together regardless of race, religion, political affiliation etc and let our voices be heard as a unified entity that we can get the job (that Washington is failing to do) done!
In closing let me just say this, this whole movement is 100% grass roots! I truly believe that if you provide a stage thousands if not millions will unify and stand together as one! We all have one thing in common, we are all American citizens! Together we can be as one, together we can make a difference that will impact our lives and our future! Again this is truly for the people by the people. Lets do the job that our elected officials are failing to do! It's time that the government and the world hears the true voice of the people!
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for visiting this site, and I truly hope that you can relate to these words and believe in your heart and soul that this is something that needs to be addressed!
Sincerely,
Daniel Smeriglio
I’m Lou Barletta, the proud Mayor of the City of Hazleton, Pennsylvania.

Others enter the country illegally and use government services by not paying taxes or by committing crime on our streets, further draining resources here in Hazleton. Recent crimes – such as a high-profile murder, the discharge of a gun at a crowded city playground, and drug busts – have involved illegal immigrants. Some of those allegedly involved in those crimes were detained by other law enforcement officials over the years, but were somehow allowed to remain in this country. They eventually migrated into Hazleton, where they helped create a sense of fear in the good, hardworking residents who are here legally.
Illegal aliens in our City create an economic burden that threatens our quality of life. With a growing problem and a limited budget, I could not sit back any longer and allow this to happen. I needed to act! That’s why I drafted the Illegal Immigration Relief Act, a measure designed to say enough is enough.
To the residents of Hazleton, I say thank you for your support. To our recently arrived legal immigrants, I say welcome to our City. I wish you all the best and hope the United States and Hazleton can be a place where your dreams come true. I am proud to represent you as your Mayor.
And to illegal immigrants and those who would hire or abet them in any way, I say your time is up. You are no longer welcome.
There are thousands of small towns and cities across America like Hazleton, Pennsylvania. I hope the steps we’re taking in Hazleton to defend ourselves will inspire others to become small town defenders.
